My name is Brandi Rosenhagen and I am the elementary school counselor here in Cheney. I have my Master's Degree in School Counseling from Emporia State University and hold a professional license in this area, as well as a LMSW (licensed master of social work) from Newman University.

When I am not at school, I love spending time with my husband and three children. I consider my role at Cheney Elementary a joy and a privilege and love serving you and your family.

Program Definition

The Cheney Elementary School’s counseling program is an educational program involving a comprehensive system for facilitating the personal-social, educational, and career development of all students. Counseling is provided to individuals and small groups. The counselor uses a preventive model of guidance and counseling in large groups. Counselor consultation, collaboration, and coordination provide students with a sense of consistency within the school, and among school, home and community. (Kansas Task Force, 1997)
